This tutorial is more of a reminder to myself, and to let you follow how I created the macro image below using nine photographs with different focus areas, and combining them into one final image.
Final Image Using Photo Stacking
This technique is called Photo Stacking, and can prove veryf effective, as I am finding out myself.
What equipment do you need?
DLSR
Dedicated Macro Lens/Extension Tubes
Tripod
Cable Release (or you could use the self timer)
