Saltwick Bay is situated approximately a mile outside of Whitby, North Yorkshire. To find it,you need to look for Saltwick Bay Caravan Park.

When you first arrive, there isn't a vast amont of parking spaces, so if its a good day for photography, expect it to get busy. Looking down from the car parking area, you are first treated to the view of the bay, and on looking to the left, a steep climb down to the beach itself. Don't let this put you off!

Look out for the submarine shaped rocks known as Black Nab, and the wreck of Admiral Vom Tromp, a trawler which foundered in 1976. There are apprently more shipwrecks in this area, so I need to revisit and find them.

Word of warning: Please check local tide times before venturing to this very photogenic spot!
